In the Commonwealth realms, outside of the United Kingdom, where the Queen Mother was a member of the national Royal Family, no official title was accorded to her through law. Instead she was addressed using her UK title as a courtesy title.
Upon her death, it was reported that the Gorsedd of Bards had paid tribute to her using her bardic name "Betsy o Ebor" (Elizabeth of York).
